PORTLAND, Maine
- Speranza Systems, Inc., the leading provider of treasury and bank relationship management software, has recently relocated to larger offices in the state's biggest city, Portland.
"In a very short period of time, we've outgrown our offices in York and in Scarborough," says Glen Solimine, CEO of Speranza. "As we've added staff and increased our development facilities, we've felt the need for a space that accommodates our growth and locates us centrally amid some of the other leading service firms. We now have offices that are attractive, easy for staff to get to, easy for clients to visit, and flexible in terms of future growth."
Speranza's new offices are at 217 Commercial Street, in the heart of Portland's historic Old Port district. "I occasionally get the 'Why Portland?' question from some of our clients and partners outside of Maine or overseas. My only response is 'why not?' Portland is a fantastic city, with many of the amenities you find in larger metropolises, but with all of the quality-of-life advantages that living in Maine provides, along with access to a dynamic employee pool. We frequently meet with our clients in their locations, but find that they're often just as interested in coming to visit us at our headquarters in Maine. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that our office is across the street from all of the pleasures of Casco Bay!"
