- Speranza Systems, Inc., the leading provider of treasury and bank relationship management software, has been named one of the top 30 small businesses in Maine, according to the Maine Small Business & Development Technology Center (SBDC).
The "Maine 30" – small businesses in the state that are fueling growth and technology development – were honored at a luncheon at the University of Southern Maine’s Abromson Center on March 15th. The luncheon was part of the SBDC’s Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Symposium, honoring 30 years of the SBDC’s helping small businesses succeed in Maine. Speakers at the event included Tom Stemberg, founder and chair emeritus of Staples, Inc.
Award honorees represent technology, manufacturing, biotech and other industries throughout the state. Businesses considered for selection as one of the "Maine 30" were required to demonstrate measurable impact on their community through job creation, capital formation, technology commercialization.
